VISIONARY LEADERSHIP & COMMUNITY RESULTS

While San Antonio is experiencing record growth, many District 6 neighborhoods are aging and in need of transformation. I will fight to ensure all District 6 neighborhoods get their fair share of resources and investment.

We must begin the journey of tackling the “impossible” by engaging our youth and take responsibility for our neighbor’s children. To break the cycle of poverty, strong schools must be surrounded by strong neighborhoods where future generations have the option to “move home”.

Join me in declaring a Revolution through TRANSFORM VISION 6, a blueprint for Vibrant Neighborhoods.

I respectfully ask for your vote.

1. STRONG SCHOOLS

Reliable and high-quality Streets, Sidewalks, Trails, Drainage, and Fiber networks will be assessed and improved across District 6. Technology will be integrated in all infrastructure projects where people connect.

2. HOUSING CHOICES:

Through a city/county Neighborhood Housing Fund, and in collaboration with neighborhood schools using enrollment data trends, the city will facilitate rehabilitation and new construction incentives in targeted NTPs.

3. SAFE PLACES

Reduce Medical and Police emergency call answer and response times throughout the district by expanding fire/police sub-stations and staffing.

4. HEALTHY LIVING

The environment we live in impacts our health. Walkable neighborhoods, active parks, property compliance, healthy nutrition options and social service intervention are all critical to support healthy living.

5. SMART CONNECTIONS

Reliable and high-quality Streets, Sidewalks, Trails, Drainage, and Fiber networks will be assessed and improved across District 6. Technology will be integrated in all infrastructure projects where people connect.

6. MOVING HOME

All neighborhoods in the district will provide opportunities to “grow at home” by providing quality services, social amenities, entertainment, housing options, best schools, aging-in-place care, and skilled / high-paying jobs.
